As the Administrative Sales Assistant, you would be assisting in multiply departments including Admissions, Student Services and Finance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Contact potential students who request information on the Aveda Institute.
  • Book tours with potential students.
  • Complete tours with potential students and or visitors.
  • Assist in completion of given task list from any department.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Preparation and updates of regularly scheduled reports and spreadsheets.
  • Assist to handle requests and queries from upper leadership.
  • File all necessary documentation (applications, reference letters, education documents, etc.) in student's file.
  • Help plan and execute any Aveda Institute events such as career fairs, open houses, industry events, student orientations, mixers, and outside recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of all required data. 

Requirements:

  • Be willing to assist all team members and able to prioritize workflow.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and fax machines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint a must.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Goal oriented, driven and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
  • Weekend availability is a must, 40 hour work week.

Compensation:

  • $14.00 - 17.00 Hourly DOE.
