Job Purpose:
Assist with all functions and activities related to student financing to meet enrollment goals. Responsible for overall accuracy of student accounts.
The successful candidate must be sales driven, goal oriented, and have strong communication and listening skills.
Description of Duties:
- Overall understanding of Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) -- current certification preferred.
- Work collaboratively with the Admissions team to enroll and finance students.
- Assist prospective students with FAFSA process.
- Determine eligibility and package Federal Financial Aid for prospective students.
- Explain and answer questions regarding eligibility and packaging for prospective students.
- Conduct phone, email, text, and social media communication with prospective students.
- Make accurate updates to the CRM database, and enter detail notes explaining progress.
- Keep the student interested and motivated between the time that he or she applies and the start of the scheduled class.
- Maintain compliance with the company policies, procedures, local , state and federal laws and regulations.
- Receive all tuition payments for student accounts and deposit.
- Organize program start dates and schedules.
- Familiarity with E-Z Audit, D&B, Fame, and Spabiz preferred.
- Proven accuracy and accountability required.
- Attend advanced training seminars that pertain to job responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Education/Experience:
- Basic accounting skills required.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, evenings and weekends.
- Able to work with all types of personalities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in fast pace, high volume environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with a Sales Cycle and proven ability to meet and exceed goals.
Compensation:
- $16.82 - $19.23 Hourly DOE.
