With 20 years in the industry and advanced Sassoon training, Chad brings a deep love for precision cutting to his role as an instructor at Aveda Institute Portland. From short crops to long layers, he specializes in working with all hair lengths and textures, always striving for clean lines and artistic expression.

Chad’s passion for teaching is rooted in the incredible mentors he’s had throughout his career. He’s dedicated to passing on that knowledge and helping students push past challenges to find their own rhythm and confidence behind the chair.

When he’s not teaching, Chad channels his creativity through music, art, sewing, and cooking—and if there’s a Madonna song playing, you’ll definitely catch him singing along.
