Fun things to do this Earth Month!
Earth Month is finally here! It's time to get outside and celebrate the PNW. There are many events and volunteer opportunities throughout the Portland area. We put together a list of events happening in our community.
Treasure the Beach
1st Saturday of every month! 2024 marks the 20th year of Treasure the Beach, a monthly beach cleanup in Seaside, Oregon. Join the crew this coming Saturday, April 6th. Kids are welcome with adult supervision. Registration is recommended but not required. More information & Register here!
Community Forestry Days
2nd Saturday of every month! Learn by doing a variety of projects in a sustainably managed woodland. "Volunteer opportunities are open to all adults (individuals and organized groups) and adult-supervised youth. Please RSVP by the Thursday prior to each Community Forestry Day, whether you plan to join for all or part of the day". Learn More!
Cityscape Sparkle: Earth Day Cleanup
Earth Day Event! Join SOLVE on Earth Day, April 22nd, from 2-4 pm for a litter cleanup event that goes beyond just tidying up our neighborhood streets."The event will commence with a warm welcome at Sport Oregon, where participants will receive cleanup supplies, including gloves, bags, and all the essentials to make this event a success." Kids are welcome with adult supervision. Registration is recommended but not required. More information & Register here!

If you are looking for more opportunities for community involvement, join SolveOregon in "celebrating Earth Day across the region. You can contribute to environmental conservation efforts all around Oregon. Events kick off on April 13th and will end on April 22.
