What separates you from other stylists
"Reminding myself of a few things sets me apart. I hope never to stop learning, growing, and educating myself on new techniques and styles".
How do you build and maintain clientele to secure financial stability in this industry?
"I've always been a firm believer in 2 things: pre-booking your client for their next service and strong consultations. Strong consultations = a strong service. I like to make sure everything is clear in the very beginning so there are no surprises in the end. It allows the client to build trust in you from the start of the service.
Pre-booking works, whether it's a reminder to get their hair done or a reminder to move the appointment to a time that works for them. At least they have a spot on your books. Take control of the checkout process to ensure your client is prebooked properly, and it closes the service nicely."
"Work hard, don't give up, and be thankful for the clients you have. “
What inspired you about training and assisting another stylist?
"Assisting a master stylist when I first started with Dosha was one of the best experiences I've ever had. It allowed me to gain real-life experience and knowledge from someone who is a true master in her craft. I will be forever grateful for that time spent with her".
